The guys in OKGo are super creative and you never know what you’ll see next in their music videos. I applaud the team that built these contraptions for the “This too Shall Pass” music video. They are resourceful, witty and perfectionists when it comes to timing and measurement.
It’s just a good time. Check out the new video here >

A Poker Face Parody for Designers

OMG Have you seen this? Neutra Face: An Ode on a Typeface (A Bearded Poker Face Parody.) Like any appropriate design parody they mention Helvetica, sans-serif, leading and “bold-italic.” I love that geeks can go from conception to creation and this one will be stuck in my head all day. Lady GaGa would be proud.

I was lucky enough to visit the 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art featured at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane, Australia. The new exhibition at GOMA is executed beautifully. The shows runs from December 5, 2009 to April 5th, 2010 located on the South Bank of the Brisbane River. Admission: FREE
Here are a few of my favorite highlights: taxidermy reindeer’s covered in crystal balls, wax-made asian men, rooms full of string and ominous film installations with intriguing sound spacing.

Last week we (Artistic Hub) launched a Fan Photo Contest for the OAKLAND RAIDERS. We know the Raiders have fanatical fans and we were excited to allow them to post their own photos and vote on their favorites. They have truly shown their support for the team because the traffic and submissions have been through the roof! GO RAIDER FANS!
Do you know someone that’s a part of the Raider Nation? Tell them about the contest.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Submit a photo of you in all of your Raider glory.
2. Vote! The winner is based on public votes, so tweet, post and promote.
3. WIN – new winners announced every Wednesday so get started…
The team offers great prizes including a game football signed by Shane Lechler, tickets to the games and RAIDERS Gear. New Prizes every week. Check it out!
WHY IT WORKS:
The first 24 hours: 180 Photos Submitted / 100,000 votes
Today – Day 11: 915 Photos Submitted / 555,000 Votes
Fan Engagement… it works! Go Team Hub!
