Pentax K-x Limited Edition Robotic Colors
The new Pentax limited edition camera is off the chain. This camera would complete my collection perfectly…hmmm these are only offered in Japan and offered at the low price of ¥110,000.00. Maybe I’ll wait for v2.
ACL Lineup is Out!
I know ACL (Austin City Limits) is not until October but the lineup came out today. There will be so many good bands: Flaming Lips, Band of Horses, LCD Soundsystem and Norah Jones to name a few. I am so excited to see Angus and Julia Stone live. Check out their video “Mango Tree.” Life changing.

Maira Kalman is having her first major museum survey of her work, Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World), at the Institute of Contemporary Arts at the University of Pennsylvania. Her joyful images make me smile. Happy Friday 
Collecting the Mail: Handmade books
I stumbled onto this great blog where the bookbinder saved all of her junk mail envelopes to use as pages of very unique journals. What an obvious and super fun idea for a book. She started with stacks (signatures) of cut open junk mail envelopes.
And ended up with these beauties:
All of the journals have envelopes for pages with the security patterns, plastic windows and stamps left in tact. I can’t wait to make my own. Thanks Rhonda from Canada

Great poster for our new office
Here at Artistic Hub, we are gearing up to move to a brand new office in downtown San Diego. I am excited to do a little house cleaning.. or should I say a LOT of house cleaning. As our moving date gets closer, I am trying to find a few fresh items to spice up the new office. This poster by Material girl makes me smile. I’ll take one please! Now I just need to find the perfect vintage frame. Thrift stores, here I come…
